Small Group Service Opportunity

Attention Small Groups!

Lost and Found, eight singers who love the Lord, would like a small group to help us with our ministry. We sometimes lead worship at Bethany and have led worship, sung concerts and offered mission presentations in other churches in the area. Four of us have gone on short term mission trips to Africa and plan to continue with African missions.

The two current projects on our plate are:

1. A live recording - CD to use as an outreach as well as a sample for other churches who are considering inviting us to sing.

2. A “Hearts For Africa” concert fundraiser for the Ethiopia Team and for Nancy Kilpatrick who is organizing medical teams to go to Uganda, Malawi and Sierra Leone.

You can help by:

1. Praying for us and these projects.

2. Manning sales booths when we sell CDs, books and Linda Brown’s artwork (she is the artist you saw sculpting on Easter Sunday).

3. Helping with organization and publicity.

If you love the Lord, love music and have a heart for Africa, please help us! Thanks in advance!

Sincerely,

Karen Cameron

What are those boxes in the Rotunda?

The stack of boxes in the center of the Rotunda represents the fifty tons of food we are raising for fifty local food pantries during our Feed the Need drive.  Each level represents 10 tons of food. When we fulfill 10 tons, we paint the boxes on that level yellow.

We’re getting closer all of the time!
